Poem of thoughts

Artist: Leonardo Da Vinci

Da Vinvi's painting is amazing because it gives you some type of optical illusion like the background and also the smile that that painting has. That painting has a mystery to it that smile that if you look really in and focus your attention you see that is not really a smile but a weard feeling that you can't understand.

Poet: John Stone

1

It is not what she did
at 10 o'clock
last evening

accounts for the smile

It is
that she plans
to do it again

tonight.

2

Only the mouth
all those years
ever

letting on.

3

It's not the mouth
exactly

it's not the eyes
exactly either

it's not even
exactly a smile

But, whatever,
I second the motion.

This poem explaining the painting's smile becasuse is not exact and it doesn't explain what is she laughting about is just there. the artist of the poem agreed with the feeling that she has that is not what she did but probably what she is going to do. my personal opinion is that both the painting and the poem are expressing their feelings.
