THE CHALLENGE

Challenges are what live is made of, there are many types of challenges there are mental challenges and physical challenges. My greatest challenge would be to learn another language it is a problem that I want eliminate a barrier that I want to surpass is tough but I will keep try until I reach my goal.

Overcoming this challenge is important because in the future I want to become so many thing and for me to accomplish that I will have to be smart and probably I will have to know a few languages. and because I live in united states I need to because a better writer and a better speaker so in a future close to now I can become someone. What is I decided to be a teacher or a scientist I wold need to be smart to get my job done.

The only way for me to overcome my challenge and be successful is to study, learn new thing get better at everything writing, speaking and listening also I could stay home and study, pay attention in class, by trying by best to understand and also by reading a lot because reading is one of the best way to keep you brain moving.

There are many people that can help me overcome my challenge for example my teacher and family my teacher can help me teaching me way to learn and my family can help me by telling me not to give up and by telling me that I can learn.

By overcoming my challenge I will gain knowledge and I will also gain opportunities and by opportunities I mean that if I know a few language I will have more opportunities to get a great job because of what I know.

TECHNOLOGY

New Technology Now Plays A Part In All Our Lives.

There have been some dramatic changes in the past years in this areas; transportation, technology, medical advances and space exploration. There is a big possibility that in the future there are going to be significant changes in transportation, medical advances and space exploration.

Some of the biggest developments on transportation are the airplane and the hybrid car they are both big developments because they are really efficients transportation methods, In the future they are likely to be some other changes in transportation maybe we are not going to use airplanes any more maybe we are going to fly using our own cars.

The second area of significant change is likely to be the medical advance, even though we have come along way sense we start using medicine to cure injuries, We may be better in the future maybe we will live until 150 years, maybe in the future the will find a cure for cancer and AIDS.

The biggest Scientific development we ever done is the space exploration because not until a few years ago we didn't now how space was like when a few mans went to the moon and told us how it was, In the future the people may even live in the space maybe the find another planet with the characteristics that earth has and who knows maybe that can even find live in another planet.

To conclude, I expect some dramatic changes in some areas like transportation, medical advances and space exploration.

NEW TECHNOLOGY

Name: Yovanny Hernandez

There have been significant changes over the past 100 years in three main areas (e.g. electricity, motorized transport, aircraft, space exploration, medical advances, computer technology)
There are likely to be changes in the following 3 areas: information technology, biotechnology and alternative energy sources.

Major changes have taken in computer technology that has developed rapidly in the past few decades (e.g. Bill Clinton became US pres. in Jan 1993 - only 50 WebPages on the Internet!) This is still likely to be a major area of change in the coming decades: e.g. computerized houses, where your fridge can be programmed to order fresh milk.

The first of change is likely to be biotechnology, Genetically modified crops will be grown in climates that were previously impossible (e.g. wheat in semi-arid areas and tropical fruits in the far north) and will have higher yields than in the past.Livestock will be modified to produce higher yields of milk and meat.Human beings will be modified to eliminate inherited diseases (disorders or diseases you are born with, passed on by your parents’ genes.

The second area of change is likely to be a that alternative energy sources a major challenge facing the world at the end of the 20th century = global warming resulting from man-made pollution. It is likely that alternative energy sources will soon be exploited more seriously. Solar, wind and wave energy.Nuclear energy? Perhaps we will abandon high-speed vehicles and accept slower, more energy-efficient ones?

In conclusion, we can expect major changes in the areas of information technology, biotechnology and alternative energy sources.

One Should Nerver Give Up

Name: Yovanny Hernandez

One Should Nerver Give Up

A person should never give up, even though Martin Luther king was risking his life he didn’t give up. For example he delivered his “I Have a Dream” speech, he was really brave and he wasn’t afraid of the threats. He followed his dream until the end and he died because of his dream.

He delivered his “I Have a Dream” speech even though some people had told him that if he didn’t stop his protest, they were going to kill him, however, he didn’t stop. He kept on fighting for his dream. He went to all of the speeches and tried as much as he could to end the racism against the black race. He was as stubborn as a lion trying to get his food and because of that he died when he was to lead a march of sanitation workers protesting against low wages and poor working conditions on April 4, 1968.

He was a really brave man because, instead of backing down, he went even deeper and he lived and died for his dream.

I am a great admirer of Martin Luther King because of many reasons and the most important reason is that he was really stubborn when it came to perusing his dream and that is what I admire more than anything else about him.

Two schools

The school I.S. 145 and I.S. 235 have a lot in common. Both schools are crowded and that they both have good teachers but they have one difference and that is one of them has a lot of rules and the other one doesn’t.

There are a lot of students in both of the schools. There are about 2000 students in both of them. The hallways are very crowded and they have more crowded classes

In both schools, teachers are really nice to students. They try to make all the things easier for us in any language or way. If you don’t understand something they translate to your own language so you can understand.

The difference is that I.S. 235 has a lot of rules and that I.S. 145 doesn’t. For example, once, I was sitting in front of a girl that I didn’t even know and I got in trouble because I was too close to her.

To conclude, both schools are the same in terms of the population and quality of teachers and they are different in terms of how strict they apply the rules.

Poem

Cold

The people say I'm cold as ice
That I'm bad like hell.
That I'm like a robot with no heart
That my heart is like a whole empty

I am a lion
I am a snake
I am a turtle
I am a scorpion

All the animals for a reason the lion violent
the snake poisonous
the turtle calm
the scorpion disloyal.

An animal
four
one per personality
dominant disloyal
powerful and poisonous
that my eyes tell you something
only by looking at you

all those characteristics in one body.
