According to the yellow area in the page the Gettysburg Address what Abraham Lincon wanted was a country that wasn't divide that is way he try either to own slaves or not to own them and because of that Lincon that, war started. I the document also says that he said that this government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.
